Why Is My EarnApp IP Blocked (and How to Fix It)

BirdProxiesOctober 22, 20264 min read

If EarnApp shows your device as blocked or locked even though the proxy connects fine, the problem is almost never the connection. It is how EarnApp rates the IP address. EarnApp scores every IP and refuses the ones it reads as datacenter, VPN or blacklisted, no matter how fast they are. A proxy can pass a speed test and still be dead weight for EarnApp.

This is the single most common EarnApp complaint, and it catches people out because the proxy looks like it works. It does work, as a tunnel. It just sits on an IP that EarnApp has already decided not to trust.

What "IP blocked" actually means on EarnApp

EarnApp exposes a public IP check at earnapp.com/dashboard/api/check_ip/<ip>. For each address it returns either ip_blocked: false (accepted) or a reason: ["ip_type","dch"] for a datacenter range, ["ip_quality","vpn"] for a VPN or proxy reputation, or ["earnapp_blacklist"] for an address that is explicitly banned. That verdict is set before you ever install anything. If it comes back flagged, the device will lock the moment it runs, and swapping tools changes nothing.

Check your IPs before you set anything up

Rather than find out the hard way, run your list through EarnApp's own check first. We built a free EarnApp proxy checker: paste your proxies, or check your current IP, and it sorts them into clean versus flagged, with the reason for each. It needs no EarnApp login and nothing is tied to your account. Anything that comes back as datacenter or VPN is an IP EarnApp will not accept, and no amount of retrying will change that.

The fix: one clean static ISP IP per instance

The addresses that pass are static residential and ISP IPs: fixed, home-ISP-looking addresses, one per instance. That is the whole reason datacenter and cheap rotating proxies fail here and ISP IPs do not. If a chunk of your list is flagged, you need to replace those addresses, not retry them. BirdProxies dedicated ISP proxies for EarnApp are built for exactly this, and every IP can be re-checked with the same tool.

When the IP is clean but the device still locks

If the checker says an IP is clean and EarnApp still shows the device as locked, that is a different problem, and it is account side, not the IP. EarnApp limits how many devices it allows per account and locks the extras, especially when many IPs from the same subnet run under one account. The fix there is to spread the IPs across separate accounts and keep one clean IP per instance, rather than piling them onto a single account.

A note on the honest part

Sharing bandwidth may breach EarnApp's terms or your ISP's terms, so read them first, and a clean IP is not a promise of earnings. What a clean IP does guarantee is that EarnApp will accept the address instead of locking it, which is the step most people get stuck on. The tool tells you how EarnApp rates an IP. What you do with that is up to you.

FAQ

Why is my EarnApp IP blocked even though the proxy works? A proxy can tunnel fine and still be refused. EarnApp scores the IP itself and blocks anything it reads as datacenter, VPN or blacklisted, regardless of speed. The connection working tells you nothing about that verdict.

How do I know which of my proxies EarnApp will accept? Run them through EarnApp's public IP check. The free checker above does this for a whole list at once and shows the reason for each flagged IP.

What proxies work for EarnApp? Clean static residential or ISP IPs, one fixed address per instance. Datacenter and VPN ranges get flagged and locked.

My IP passes the check but the device is still locked. Why? The IP is clean, so that lock is account or device side. EarnApp caps devices per account and locks the extras. Spread your IPs across accounts and keep one clean IP per instance.

Does this apply to Honeygain and Pawns too? The datacenter and VPN rating EarnApp reads is the same signal those apps use, so a clean verdict is a good sign across the board. EarnApp is just the one that exposes a public check you can read directly.
